5 Reasons Why Book Marketing Campaigns Fail

5. Low Audience Exposure

Audience exposure refers to how many people actually hear about your book in the first place. Low audience exposure is a very common problem among new writers, especially for those who are just releasing their first book.

The internet is a big place. The media is a big place. Readers get their news from a variety of sources, so it’s very important not to get trapped on just one blog or in one publication. Don’t assume that one or two published reviews will make reader flock to your book’s website by the the thousands.  There are hundreds of blogs and alternative sources in every genre where you can get noticed. Get featured in as many places as you can. Although it might be hard to get on larger sites and in newspapers, there are plenty of bloggers who are hungry for content.
